Aftermath

All the fights having now ended, some quicker then others Sparta at last rose to his paws once again. He had noted the present Prime had presented to Olive…odd for the fiery she-wolf, though Sparta did approve of it. He however, did not approve of her behavior. She was rather unpredictable, something Sparta didn’t want among his traits. Rhea, had fought well once again despite her size she had held her own and Cian had spirit and a good temperament. As for Ilia and Nymeria, it seemed the two had worked out whatever trouble they had been having. Neither had one their first fight but they both had managed to impress the Sub-Alpha this time around. Moving to Lotus’ side Sparta glanced over at the elder. “What do you think?” he asked her waiting for her input.

Lotus flashed Sparta a minute shrug of apology that she'd let Prime's duel get a touch out of hand. Still, she didn't regret it. Lotus appreciated spontaneity in wolves and Prime was a...prime example. "I approve all the obvious ones. Cian knows what he's doing, he just needs polishing. I’m sure you have doubts about that last fight though...honestly, I approve of Prime despite her unsavory blood thirst. She's skilled and that unpredictability is a real asset in battle. Still, watch her carefully and make sure she knows the rules. That "enthusiasm" of hers needs to be curbed a bit." The old she-wolf said with a sarcastic edge to the word enthusiasm. "Olive is not an option." She declared bluntly. "She's too hesitant and frankly too weak to fight. She's half starved." Then she nodded to Sparta and stepped back to let him speak.

Sparta nodded his head in turn to Lotus. He would take her advice into consideration as he always did. Moving forward now Sparta approached the wolves gathered examining each in turn. “Well done,” he stated pausing to look to Olive. The remains of her fish lay at her feet. “You’re dismissed,” he snapped before turning away from her. “The rest of you follow me,” he growled. As he moved way from Dawns Mirror he turned to look to Autum. “You may come as well, as I wish to speak to you in private,” he told her before heading toward the Eastern Border.

The dame soon got up beginning to follow giving a slight grunt; she actually felt some pride from Lotus approval which caused her banner to sway slightly behind her as she trotted along her ears perked searching for Rhea; now glad the two will be warriors together and wanted to hear how her spar had went.

Rhea had watched the fight between Prime and Olive. She didn't quite care as much about what Prime had done as much as she did about poor Olive. The wolf was not set to be a warrior, it was so obvious. As Prime seemed to make up for it, she began to pad away from Autum. "Thank you for the spar," she called to the female over her shoulder. She continued towards Prime and grinned, pace turning into a bound. Sparta had been the one to allow bloodshed. "You scared the shit out of Olive, no doubt." She turned to Sparta as he spoke, watching Olive be dismissed. Her heartstrings got pulled a bit more for the she-wolf. Though, she pushed the thoughts to the farthest corner of her mind as she fell in step a bit behind Sparta.
Ilia rose from her spot, giving her cousin a quick look before moving to follow after Sparta. Her gaze lingered upon Olive for a few moments as she made her way after the group. She would like to speak with her, later on. It didn't quite feel right to just... leave her like that. Perhaps she would try to find her, once everything had settled down. She let the thought fade to the back of her mind, for now. Her attention was instead upon the sub-alpha leading them all. No doubt he would have some interesting things to say about the night's events.

Autumn would sit down as the other fights would be going on seeing Prime draw first blood she figured that would happen. The wolf to her seemed a bit more on the maim and maul type, "You’re welcome," she would nod her head to Rhea as she watched her walk away. She got up too and shook her fur out and padded over. "Alright as you wish," she gave a soft smile. She would follow Sparta towards the Eastern border.

As the group followed after Sparta Nymeria moved to keep up with Ilia, soon being joined as well by Cian. “I see you two made up,” Cian said smiling his tail wagging slightly. “That’s good,” he told them. Nym smiled at the young Alpha Pup before gently bumping into him. “What can I say…she’s a pain but…she’s my pain,” she said teasing glancing over to Ilia. Before Ilia could say anything Nym head-butted her cousin in the shoulder giggling softly.

Sparta glanced back as the group followed after him. It didn’t take to long for them to reach the border and as they did Sparta moved toward Amaroq’s Pass taking a seat in front of it his back facing the dark crevice which, marked the end of their territory. He waited for the rest of the group to join him motioning to Autum to take a seat beside him. Beyond the pass was no-mans land and on the other side, the border to the Raven Bones Pack. For this reason Sparta had chosen to speak to those gathered here at this exact location.

The dame's banner twitched soon giving a snort of amusement toward Rhea's comment "it seems I did" she stated. Her ears erected slightly as they came upon Amaroq'pass she heard little of this section of the border, only having known it is where it cuts off toward the Raven Bone pack. Her cranium tilted to the side slightly wondering why he brought them here.

Rhea's bones chilled as they neared the eastern part of the territory. The area seemed worse at night; not so scary, though, considering she was with other wolves. She was curious why they were here, though she had a sneaking suspicion. The Raven Bones were close at hand; they probably weren't being quiet for no reason, certainly. They were there to prove a point. Who knew what lurked around these parts, though? Hopefully the situation didn't escalate like it had with Lugra. Rhea's gaze focused on Sparta, blue eyes as tense as ever.

Ilia aimed a genuine smile at Cian. They hadn't talked much, but she already had taken a great liking to him. When her cousin head-butted her shoulder, she playfully moved to whack Nym with her tail. "I could say the same of you," she teased softly, though she immediately grew silent when the Pass came into view. She waited patiently then, for Sparta to explain why he had brought them to this specific location.

Autumn continued on to the path she would know as they headed to Amaroq’s Pass . Her trot was up beat not that she was excited but not in a bad mood. IT wasn’t everyday she got to spar. As she listened to the others talk about there spar. She kept going her tail swaying as she followed. When Sparta motioned her to come up she would pad her feet over and sit down next to him not on top of him though. She would look at the others around her.

Nym chuckled softly falling quiet however, as she noticed where they were. She herself, had never traveled to the pass before but she had heard of it. Glancing over to her cousin and then Cian, Nym frowned as she took a seat her attention finally resting upon Sparta. She to was wondering what they were doing here. Cian followed, Nym’s lead sitting at attention as he waited to learn the reason why they had traveled to the pass.

---
Once the rest gathered Sparta rose to his paws once again to address them as a whole. “You most likely are wondering why I brought you here,” he said his voice emotionless. “The reason is because every warrior must have a reason for fighting. Our reason is to protect our pack from the beasts that reside just beyond this pass. I said it before and I will say it again. None of you, I repeat, none of you are ready to face these foes. They would rip you to shreds. That being said, training will have to begin immediately for you to improve your skills.” Moving now Sparta came to stand in front each wolf in turn, starting with Prime. “If it was up to me you wouldn’t be here right now. Lotus however sees potential in you. Learn to obey the rules, and suppress that rage of yours and one day you may just be a great warrior,” Sparta told her. Turning to Rhea he was silent as he studied her. “You are at a greater disadvantage then most, however, you held your own against Autum and you won your first fight against Nymeria. You may not look it, but you have shown much potential.” Next Sparta moved toward Cian speaking to him briefly before turning to Nymeria and addressing her as well. Lastly, his gaze fell upon Ilia. He was silent for a moment as he studied her. “Perhaps the greatest lesson to be taught is the one a pupil teaches the mentor,” Sparta stated before taking a step back to address the full group. “You all have the makings of great warriors. The law of the pack however, is that no Omega can claim the Title and so tonight you are all promoted to the rank of Gamma. You will train with us but you will not hold the Title of warrior until I deem you are ready. I suggest you get to know your fellow pack mates better and set aside your differences, for these will be your allies in battle. You must rely on them; trust them with your lives. A warrior’s true strength comes from within. Battles are one by working together. Think on these lessons…decide what it is you are fighting for. Rest, and regain your strength, from here on it only gets harder.” With that Sparta dismissed them waiting for them to go before he turned to address Autum.
